Autumn flies by in a flash, and there are undeniable favorites for everyone, such as pumpkins, spooky displays, great food, and beautiful foliage. All of these details make the fall season the star of your employee event calendar, so here we offer some quality bonding ideas amongst your employees this season.
1) Go harvesting!
Why not arrange a local farm to harvest and taste the season’s fresh produces, do apple cider pressing, enjoy some hayrides, and more. You can do either as an after work pumpkin patch, or an apple-picking weekend, depending on the time you wish to allocate for this once in a year event.
2) Get in the Halloween spirit
Do a poll among your employees to find out their scary movie favorites. Then you may host a scary movie marathon each Friday after work, and spice it up with food, snacks and so on. This is a great way to top off the long work week with our office mates while getting into the Halloween spirit.
3) Cook up some fun!
Autumn has the most phenomenal food on offer: apples, pumpkin, mushrooms, and all the fall veggies are freshest, tastiest, and plentiest ever! Keeping in mind that food brings people together, you may think of throw out some cooking challenge in your office in the middle of the week, to pump up the staff energy and to enjoy great food cooked together. We, as HTC Events, come to you, wherever your office is, and organize every detail to run the event. We can host the events elsewhere and our chefs can include every kind of meal from sweet to savories.
4) Pumpkin Carving
Divide your employees into groups and ask them to grab one pumpkin and turn it into a fall masterpiece with ultimate creativity and teamwork. They will carve it, paint it, or decorate it, and then proudly display it in the office. You can reward the best designs, best efforts, and best teamwork!
5) Run a Pie challenge!
Run your own baking festival! Ask your employees to bake their tastiest pies ever, from fruit to creamy, savory and nut, and bring them to the office. After the tastings, ask them to score the pies. The winner may receive a gift and bragging rights for the year!
If you just want to take advantage of the fresh, crisp air and beautiful foliage with your team, layer some clothes on, pack your bags and go for a hike, run, camp, whatever you may call the activity. Finishing up with a pit fire, some snacks, drinks, and s’mores will rejoice everybody’s weekend.
